The 44th year annual performance of Anatolian Folk Dancers and Ezgi Music group was realized on June 13th saturday night with the participation of almost four hundred people.
We would like to thank everyone who helped make our event possible.
To our sponsors and supporters, thank you for believing in us and for your generous supports. Your encouragement helped bring our vision to life and made this event a wonderful celebration of music, dance, and community.
A special and heartfelt thank you to our esteemed choir director, Canan Sezgin Geylan, for her leadership, dedication, and artistic guidance. Her vision and commitment were essential to the success of our choir and the overall performance.

To all of our dancers, choir members, and musicians, thank you for sharing your talent, passion, and countless hours of hard work. Your performances brought our vision to life and created unforgettable moments for everyone who attended.



A special thank you to our music leader Bulent Göktaṣ, dance leader Ebru Toprak, for their guidance, energy, and dedication throughout the process. Their leadership played an important role in bringing the music and dance performances together.


We are also deeply grateful for the wonderful contribution of our guest musicians, Burak Ekmekçi, Selçuk Suna, and Fatih Yılmaz, who enriched our event with their presence and artistry.

OUR VISIT TO TURKISH CONSULATE

On Wednesday, May 20, 2026, our association president Mr. Kadir Yılmaz and our public relations director Mrs. Elvan Amasya visited the Consulate General of the Republic of Turkey as an invitation to the 44th annual show of the Anatolian Folk Dancers and Ezgi Music group, which will be held on the evening of June 13, 2026. A pleasant and productive conversation was held with our Consul General of Türkiye, Mr. Can Yoldaş, about the work that our association has been doing since 1982, the enthusiasm and excitement we feel for the fact that the esteemed musician Mrs. Canan Sezgin Geylan has undertaken the coordination and training of our choir 2025-2026 Season, and the contributions of cultural activities to the Turkish community in Canada.
We would like to thank Consul General of Türkiye Mr. Can Yoldaş and all the members of the consulate for their kind hospitality.
INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATION AT NATHAN PHILIPS SQUARE

On April 11, 2026, the Anatolian Folk Dancers Children Group participated in the April 23 International Children’s Day Celebration, hosted by the Turkish Society of Canada at Nathan Phillips Square.
